New York Chamber Music Initiative: "To advance and further chamber music as an integral part of the performing arts in our richly diverse community. Through the presentation of quality chamber music performances, we promote professional artists of both established and emerging chamber ensembles, composers of new chamber music, as well as artists of diverse ages and backgrounds that include exceptionally gifted young students as well as serious amateur musicians. Through our special outreach program, we are equally committed to raising social and cultural awareness through the inspiration of music and therefore involve our artists in culturally themed programs and in supporting various charities and educational programs in need."
